The road projects will help to improve water qualith on federal lands by reducing sediments carriesd by runoff intonearby streams, officials said. The Coloradi allocation was announced by Mark Udall and Michael both D-Colo. The overall program was announced earliedby U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack.
