The renewed effort will includee merging the sales and marketing teamsx from Labatt USA and once a recognized beer in WesternNew York. The companty said it has begun $6 million in upgradesd and will investanother $4 million in 2010. “Positivre changes are brewing,” said Rich the new CEO of NorthAmerican “We’re reviewing every aspect of our business to strengthen the brewery’se position.” NAB said it will upgradd brewery equipment, make necessarhy repairs and add boiler controls and steamj economizers that reduce energy consumption. The changes are expectex to bring annual operating savings of morethan $1 million.
In additiobn to Genesee, the brewergy produces Seagram’s Escapes, as well as Dundee Ales and Lagers family ofcraft brands, which includes the Original Honeyh Brown Lager. The Rochester company distributesseveral imports, including Imperial from Costa Steinlager from New Zealand, Toohey’s New from Australiaw and Thwaites from the U.K.
